Iowa Western Athletics Signs On With Adidas for Athletic Apparel

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA  --  One of the nation's premier junior college athletic programs and a world leader in team and individual sports apparel have announced an exciting partnership. Iowa Western Community College has selected adidas as the official outfitter of Reiver Athletics beginning with the FY18-19 sports season, bringing all 24 athletic programs under one highly popular sports brand.

Helping with the transition to adidas will be local apparel provider Idea Images, a full-service resource for branded merchandise located in Omaha, Neb. Ideal Images brings decades of experience in the promotional products industry and provides expertise in building successful promotional partnerships. Ideal Images is one of only 25 elite Three Stripe dealers in the United States.

"Finally getting all the Reiver athletic programs under one championship caliber brand will enable the college to move to another level of recognition," said Iowa Western Athletic Director Jeremy Capo. "We've invested a great deal of time and resources in the college's logos and brand, and aligning with adidas will give us an excellent opportunity to further enhance our brand.  adidas is cutting edge and a worldwide leader in the apparel industry. Being a part of their innovation and creativity provides limitless opportunities for our student athletes to be fitted in the newest and greatest apparel."

Peter McCann, president of Ideal Images, said his company looks forward to promoting the Reiver brand.
