A finish in the National semi-finals for the Reiver Women's Soccer wasn't the only memorable accomplishment for Coach Adam Sanchez's 2018 squad.
Sophomore forward Laura Chavez burned her name into the record book with a tremendous follow-up to her 2017 freshman campaign.
The Sophomore from Bogota, Columbia recorded 30 helpers on the season to pass the previous single season high of 22 by Juliana Oliveira in 2012.
Chavez also contributed 16 assists in year 1 with the Reivers, giving her 46 for her career, topping Oliveira's previous record of 36.
The Reivers finished the season with a record of 17-3-1 and a 3rd place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament.
Chavez has not decided where she will continue her academic and soccer careers next season, but has her eyes on playing in Florida in 2019.
