Reivers Men's Soccer Breaks Team Records!

The 2010 Reiver men’s soccer program broke the school's team record for assists on Friday, when they played Scott Community College at home. The Reivers crushed the old assists record of seven by assisting on 11 of their 13 goals.  Of the 11 assists, nine of the assists came from different players. Those to record an assist in Friday’s game were Craig Butcher, Beau Johnson, Klees Loembet, Everardo Lemus, Casey Black, Nacho Mateos, Adam Morris (2), Ryan Vanderkuyl (2) and Mohamed Salama.

Tomorrow, the Reivers look to break the team record of consecutive shutouts as they head to Spencer, Iowa to face the 2nd year program of Iowa Lakes Community College. The Reivers having tied the team record with three consecutive shutouts (Indian Hills, DCTC, Scott), are only one more away from breaking it. Also, after performing poorly at Iowa Lakes last season, the Reivers are eager to avenge their 4-3 loss.

The Reivers are currently in first place of Region XI with a record of 4-0-1 and an overall record of 5-1-1. The Reivers have received votes in the National Polls for the second straight time this year.
