Former Reivers pitcher makes Major League Baseball debut with Cincinnati Reds
ATLANTA, Georgia - Former Iowa Western left-handed pitcher Jeremy Horst was called up from Triple-A affiliate Louisville to make his debut in the MLB with the Cincinnati Reds. He was a part of the 2004 and 2005 teams and went on to play at Armstrong Atlantic State (Georgia) before being drafted in 2008.
The former Reiver had a debut to remember, as he threw 2.2 innings, giving up 2 hits, 1 earned run, and striking out 4 Atlanta Braves hitters. For the full story on Horst's debut, please follow the mlb.com link listed below.
