Reiver Men Get Eight Honorable Mentions and One 2nd. Team Honor
The Reiver men competed today at the Region XI Championships in Creston, IA. The event was hosted by Southwestern Community College. Freshman James Speight took the top honor for the Reiver men placing 10th. which earned him 2nd. Team Honors. Fellow teammates Conrad Sain, Michael Gaitan, Jake Moore, Joktan Tanui, Blake Hunter, Robert Bestenlehner, Don Price, and Jimmy Olson received honorable mention. The men finished 2nd. overall in the team competition. The Reivers had a solid day and are looking to improve the next two weeks before they run at the National XC Championships in Hobbs, NM.
