4 Wrestlers Place at Loras Open
Saturday in Dubuque, IA was the Reiver wrestler’s first competition of the season. The team left with 4 wrestlers who placed individually at a tough tournament with a wide range of competition from NJCAA to NCAA Division 1. Aaron Reynolds, Malcolm Allen, Collin Donahoo, and Aaron Satterwhite all place in the top 6 in there respected weight classes.
Aaron Reynolds placed 2nd at 141 pounds losing a tough finals match against Adam Perrin of the University of Northern Iowa. Reynolds posted a 4-1 record on the day with two pins and two regular decisions.
Malcolm Allen placed 3rd at 133 pounds. Allen had a tough road to after losing his first match of the tournament. Rattling off 6 wins in a row Malcolm posted a 6-1 record on the day three were by pin and one by technical fall.
Collin Donahoo placed 5th at 174 pounds. Donahoo found away to grind out 3 wins in the tournament to post a 3-2 record on the day, two of which were by fall.
Aaron Satterwhite place 4th at 184 pounds. Satterwhite posted a 4-2 on the day winning one match by fall and two of those matches by major decision.
