Offense Backs Gem From Larrison; Blue Wins to Stay Alive
Facing elimination Wednesday afternoon, Blue Team sent Zach Larrison to the mound hoping to stay alive in the "Wings and Celery". Larrison was up for the task as he shut down the black team for 6 2/3 innings, allowing just 1 run on 7 hits, striking out 6 along the way.
Larrison would get the run support he needed early, as the Blue team scored in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd innings, and added an insurance run in the 5th to lead 5-1.
The Blue Team came through delivering the timely hits they had been lacking all series long. 4 of their 5 runs scored came with two outs in the inning.
With the series now 3-2, Blue will send Tanner Krietemeier to to the mound looking to force a decisive Game 7, while Kyle Gehrs will try to clinch a series win for the Black Team.
