Reivers Visit Minnesota State University and Come Away with Four Qualifiers.

The Reivers had a long trip on the road to Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN this past weekend.  It was a very productive weekend on the track.  The Reivers qualified four more athletes for the Indoor National Championships at Eastern Illinois University in March. The Reivers were lead by Nick Teetzel who qualified in the 800m. (1:57.26 ).  Local Omaha standout Nash Beaudin got himself qualified in the 600m. (1:24.57 ). The women's jump squad showed their depth once again this weekend as they had two more ladies qualify as well.  Samantha MacDonald qualified in the high jump and Jordan Bright qualified in the women's triple jump (36'3.75"). Jordan also set a new school record in the triple jump as well.  Rachel Lees tied the high jump record set by teammate Catrina Harris earlier this season. (5'5")

A host of other Reivers ended up getting their personal bests in their individual events today. The Reivers are on the back half of season and  will travel to Dordt College this coming weekend.
