DI Baseball
Scholar-Athlete of the Week goes to Steven Leonard. Steven a freshman, from Monument, CO, currently has a 3.3 GPA. Steven is a catcher for the Reiver's baseball team. In action against Muscatine Steven batted .500 avg. He had 4 hits, 3 runs, 1 double, 3 RBI's. His batting average for the year is .481. In his future Steven, plans on attending a DI school and continue his education and baseball career.

Iowa Western's third-baseman, Damek Tomscha, is this week's Athlete of the Week. Damek, a sophomore, from Sioux City, Iowa, played well against Muscatine. Damek went 9 for 13.
