Bio
Kupono Decker embarks on his first season with the Reivers in 2024-25 after a successful tenure at the University of Nevada. From 2022 to 2024, Decker served as the Director of Baseball Operations for the Wolfpack, contributing to a third-place finish in the Mountain West Conference and achieving the top fielding percentage in the mountain west conference last season.
Before his time at Nevada, Decker was an assistant coach at Yuba Community College and Jessup University, where he worked with infielders.
A native of Hilo, Hawaii, Decker played collegiately at the College of San Mateo and Jessup University. As a two-way player at Jessup, he helped lead his team to a GSAC Conference Championship and an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament in 2019.
Prior to Nevada, Decker also coached Alpha Baseball, a top nationally ranked travel ball club, successfully sending all 13 players to Division 1 programs.
