Meet the new additions to our Coaching Staff!

The Reivers' Cheer Team is beyond excited to welcome some familiar faces (and one new one) back to the Bluffs for 2025-26! Let's meet the latest additions to the Coaching Staff!

First up, it's Coach Nate!

Hello Reivers!
My name is Nathan Hays, I am an Iowa western cheer alumni and excited to come back as a coach to share my knowledge and passion for this sport! I am currently a traveling cheer choreographer for Spirit FX and have been coaching all star cheer for some years now, I'm very excited for this season and can't wait to see where it goes! Go Reivers!

Next up, Coach Taysia!

Hey Reivers! I'm Taysia — proud IWCC Cheer alum turned coach! After graduating from IWCC, I headed to Morehead State where I won two national championships with Large Coed and graduated in 2023. I spent the last couple years in Charlotte, NC, but I'm so excited to be back home in Council Bluffs and back on the blue mat — this time in a new role!

He might not be an IWCC Alum, but Coach Boosh already bleeds Reiver Blue!

Hello! My name is Michael Androsov, but my friends call me "BOOSH". I've been in the cheer world for over a decade as a athlete and a coach. I have only been working with Iowa Western for a little bit now, but have enjoyed every moment so far with this program. I'm super pumped to be a part of their journey to UCA Nationals and can't wait to see whats in store for the future!

AND FINALLY! Coach Kristin!!

Hey Reivers! My name is Kristin Kennedy. I am an alumni from IWCC. During my time in this program I had the opportunity to win college nationals on the Large Coed team. After my time, I continued my cheer career at the University of Kentucky. I am proud to say I'm back in the Bluffs and be able to share this new chapter in a new position!
