2018-19: Andre Silva played in 20 games as a freshman for the Reivers. The 6'9 center played behind two future NCAA D1 signees during his first season in Council Bluffs; Emmanuel Ugboh (University of Tulsa) and Amadou Sylla (Tennessee Tech). Silva averaged 2.8 ppg, and 2.5 rpg for the Reivers; scoring a career-high 12 points on 11/13/18 against Southeast (NE).

2017-18 (MARTIN METHODIST): Silva redshirted his collegiate freshman season at Martin Methodist University (TN) during the '17-'18 academic calender year.  Having not played for Head Coach Scott Combs' Redhawks, Andre still had four years of playing eligibility left after his season at MMU.

HIGH SCHOOL: Silva attended and played at J. Escola Triunfo High School in Ipatinga, Brazil.  Andre was the final signee of Iowa Western's 2018 recruiting class that had to replace eight players from last season's Region XI Runners-Up squad; with all eight of those now competing at NCAA D1 or D2 schools with full scholarships this fall.  The 6'9 center was a tremendous final addition; adding size, athleticism, and depth to the Reivers' front-court.  Silva averaged 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocked shots per contest in his senior season at Triunfo.
