Reivers Soar to Personal Bests
The jumps squad had a tremendous weekend with several earning personal bests at the Concordia Invite.
Jacob Smetzer won the men's long jump with a personal best of 7.15m. Reggie Rogers was second, also on a PB of 6.91m, and Ameer Safi 4th 6.77m. Paul Giadyu jumped 6.57m for 6th and Angel Lopez 7th at 6.55m.
Brooklyn Vomacka had a pr in the long and triple jumps in 4.68m and 10.18m respectively.
Rogers also won the men's triple jump by 1 centimeter in 13.70m.
Yekini Bowen won the men's discus in a season-best 55.94m to move to #2 in the nation. Koen Zandvilet had a season best with 46.67m. Bowen also won the men's shot put in 15.78m.
Rasheda Samuels finished 3rd in the high jump in 1.56m.
Next up the Wichita St will host the KT Woodman Classic. April 11-12.
