Men's Half Marathon Claims Back-To-Back Titles
FORT DODGE, Iowa - For the second straight year, Iowa Western claimed the Men's Half Marathon title. The Reivers saw their top three runners finish inside the top 10; Barnabas Ndiwa once again won in a photo finish, this time over teammate Geofrey Ronoh, by just two hundredths of a second. Freshman Miguel Angel Lopez Carranza rounded out the team score with a 7th place finish.
Iowa Western topped Iowa Central and New Mexico JC by 21 and 27 points respectively and Ndiwa finished with a time of 1:04:55.3. Victor Kemboi and Flynn Pumpa also finished in the top 10, all finishing under 1:07:00.
