COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - Iowa Western women's basketball tipped off the 2025–26 season in commanding fashion Friday night, rolling to an 80–49 victory over Grand View JV at Reiver Arena.
The Reivers set the tone early with energy on the boards and stifling defense that never allowed the Vikings to find rhythm.
With the win, Iowa Western starts the year 1–0 and will look to carry its momentum into the next matchup on November 7 against State Fair Community College.
