CRESTON, Iowa - Iowa Western Women's Basketball cruised past Southwestern Iowa CC 70–48, using a mix of toughness on the glass and hot shooting from deep.
The Reivers dominated the boards and pulled down 17 offensive rebounds, repeatedly extending possessions. They also knocked down a season-best 11 threes, blowing the game open from the perimeter and keeping Southwestern on its heels all night.
The win moves the Reivers to 3-2 on the season and 1-0 in ICCAC play. The team is back in action Friday night in the State Fair CC Thanksgiving Classic at 3 pm vs Allen Co CC. The team will then play at 3 pm Saturday against the hosts State Fair CC.
