Reiver Women Finish 3rd

The Reiver Women recently competed in the Mustang Derby hosted by Morningside University in Sioux City, IA. The women came away with a 3^rd place showing led by Sophomore Soliva Holyaok-Church. Olivia posted scores of 78 and 77 respectively to finish the tournament in 6th place. Fellow Sophomore Jennifer Cho finished 1 spot behind in 7^th place. Freshman Nina Lesbros finished her 2^nd round with 3 consecutive birdies to finish tied for 8^th and Skylar Benjamin had 2 solid rounds to finish in the top 15 tied for 11^th.

"Over-all, it was a good tournament," said Head Coach Matt Robinson. "We are still trying to complete a round where all the girls are on the same page. Seems like we get 2 players posting a good round and need 2 more good scores. We will get there, we still have a lot of golf left."

The ladies will complete their fall season playing in the Big O tournament hosted by Creighton University in Omaha, NE on Oct. 13^th and 14th. This will be a good test as most of the teams are NCAA Division 1 teams.
