Reiver Women End the Regular Season with a First Place Finish
The Reiver women completed their regular season with a first-place finish at their hosted event this past Monday & Tuesday. Iowa Western hosted an 8-team field at Bent Tree Golf Course.
The women beat the runner-up team of Doane University by 26 strokes. After round 1, the Reivers led by 11 strokes and built their lead further with the help of Olivia Holyoak-Church and Nina Lesbros. Olivia shot a round of 74, and Nina followed with a 75 in round 2. Both these 2 finished first and second overall. Jennifer Chow finished in 4th place overall to round out the top 5 finishes.
"Overall, as a team we shot the best round for the entire 2026 year,"' said Head Coach Matt Robinson. "We shot a 314 score, which is where we want to be this time of year. I've been talking with the team that each tournament we want to keep building on and peak for post season, which we are. We are looking forward to the district next week and will be going up against a solid Indian Hills team."
The Reivers enter postseason with district play at Lake Mozingo Golf Course in Maryville, MO, this coming Monday and Tuesday. The team should qualify for the National Championship from May 11th through 14th in Coal Valley, IL, at Oakwood Country Club.
