Reivers Roll Past Ellsworth in First Home Dual

Council Bluffs, IA — The Iowa Western Reivers delivered a commanding team performance on Thursday night, overpowering Ellsworth Community College in a 47–5 dual. 

Iowa Western opened the dual with back-to-back forfeit victories at 125lbs and 133lbs, where Axxel Landon and Isaac Ekdahl each earned six team points to give the Reivers an early 12–0 lead.

At 141lbs, Cole Fenwick wasted no time, locking up a flurry of points before pinning Ellsworth's Gabe Brazzel in the first period.

Bumping up to 149lbs, Ross Bratetic fought off a late charge to earn a 7–5 decision over Germain Ngoma.
 
157lbs, Braxton Peacher delivered a powerful performance, securing a second-period fall over Nicholas Fischer.
 
At 165lbs and 174lbs, Andrew Crowther and Matteo Nikolov added another six team points each via forfeit. At 184lbs, Cal Wells produced a second-period fall (4:13) over Jiraiya Fonseca. 

Following a setback at 197lbs, Iowa Western closed the night with grit and composure at 285lbs, where Kolby Scott earned a hard-fought 1–0 decision.
