Reivers Volleyball Inks Local Standout Elaina Bohnet for 2020 Signing Class

Abraham Lincoln standout, Elaina Bohnet, decided to continue her volleyball journey with the Reivers for the fall of 2020. Elaina is an all-round player that will bring versatility and experience to Iowa Western's roster. She has made a huge impact at Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln in her last four seasons and has been recognized throughout the community and state for her efforts. In 2016, she was named 'KMA Land Freshman of the Year' and earned All-City Honors. In the following seasons, she earned 5A All-Conference, 5A All-District, 5A All-State, as well as being part of the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-Star Game.

Aside from high school ball, Elaina has been playing club for the past 8 years with Southwest Iowa Third Degree Volleyball.

She is the daughter of Teresa and Randy Bohnet and plans to study pediatric speech pathology.
