Women's Wrestling Finishes as Conference Runner-up

MASON CITY, Iowa - Iowa Western Women's Wrestling totalled 124 team points to finish second in the ICCAC Region 11 Championships.

The Reivers saw three individuals win their weight class.  Sophomore Hailey Medina won the 117 lbs title, defending national champion Ayana Fletcher captured the 145 lbs crown, and Freshman Faith Tarrant closed out the tournament with a win at 235 lbs.  Defending national champion Rosalia Rubio finished as the runner-up at 117 lbs, Freshman Audre Herron was second at 207 lbs, and Freshman Chevy Coleman finished in third place at 110 lbs.

The Reivers will now set their eyes on the NJCAA Women's Wrestling National Invitational at the Mid-America Center on March 6th and 7th.
